I Am Far From A Social Entrepreneur - 1122 Words

The world today is a jumbled mess of problems all caused by humans. The funny thing is we must solve the problems we have created. For example, the invention of cars is something we could not imagine life without today, yet cars are a major source of global warming through CO2 emissions. No one wants to speak out and solve this problem because it is to rooted into his or her lifestyle, yet deep down tucked away there are people working to fight back. These people are social entrepreneurs. Social entrepreneurs are the people who stray from society’s norm, and they stay determined, stay focused, and stay alert when the situation reaches its climax. Personally, I am far from a social entrepreneur. I contribute to the millions of people who†¦show more content†¦Many of the social entrepreneurs I have read about come from many walks of life, and they all have a goal focused on helping others. It doesn’t matter if one went to Harvard, and the other is an Indian school teacher. They both aim to help in whatever way possible. Anyone can be a social entrepreneur, but the task isn t an easy one. There must be a drive inside. A drive to push through all the obstacles to come and a willingness to never give up hope. There is not one social entrepreneur who didn’t have to put up a fight for his or her cause. That drive is what creates change. People on the outside see this driven person going after something that everyone knows is right, yet they just couldn’t make the change because they didn’t think it could happen. Well, social entrepreneurs make it happen, and when people start watching they soon s tart joining. The ability to influence a group of people into following a path that promotes great benefit to the surrounding world is something that comes when a true leader takes control and goes for it all. No one wants to follow a half hearted leader, but people will support a man on mission that can’t be stopped. There are countless times in life that giving up seems to be the best option. When the world is against you, and there is no one on your side. Why keep fighting a losing battle? Well, the only way to lose is to quit fighting. You are never truly losing until you quit completely. If
